At the core of the work is a head shaped like a punk mohawk, referencing the neo-expressionist aesthetic of Jean-Michel Basquiat: bold colors and dynamic illustrations create a sense of inner breakthrough. The sculpture visualizes stepping beyond the ordinary, courage in self-expression, and a rejection of routine, where the punk figure becomes a metaphor for liberated energy. "Beyond Softness" is a homage to Basquiat, embodied in ceramics.
