At the core of the work is the form of a mountain in Cappadocia, resembling two fused mushrooms with a through-hole in the cap. The sculpture replicates this natural silhouette, glazed in tones of natural stone. A dwelling can be discerned in this geological object — a reference to the history of the region, where whimsical mountains have served as shelter for people for centuries.
