The sculpture explores the state of suppressed speech, where silence is not the absence of utterance but its blockage by fear and shame. The pores of the tongue become a metaphor for words stuck between the desire to speak and inner barriers. The viewer is invited to reflect on how important it is to share what one feels — for every word spoken is a release.
