At the core of this work is a bowed head with closed eyes. Its face, rendered in deep dark tones, seems to grow from a tree trunk. Hair and neck intertwine into a single mass, resembling banyan vines. In this image, the meditative pose and smooth, organic lines convey a state of inner peace and acceptance. The sculpture visualizes the search for harmony within oneself.
